elementary (K - 6th)
BCS Elementary School aspires to develop its students by educating the whole child - Academically, Physically, and Spiritually. Our Teachers, Staff and Administration endeavor to help each student realize their full potential.
Teachers, Class Size and Curriculum
Brazosport Christian Schools’s dedicated teachers, small classroom size, and engaging curriculum creates a learning environment that establishes Godly character traits, promotes academic growth; and, not just challenges each student to learn, but to master what is being taught.

Class Size
Class size range from 14 to 16 students. BCS has two teacher aides on staff that rotate and provide support when needed. The small class size and added support allows teachers to focus on their highest priority— your child.
Curriculum
Each subject is taught from a Biblical standpoint. Textbooks and instructional materials are carefully selected to support our goal of maintaining high standards of excellence in academics. Lesson plans are designed to interact and engage the students so they have a deeper and broader understanding of the subject areas. Lesson plans may include projects, experiments, class speakers and field trips to help the lessons come alive for the purpose of academic enrichment. Field Trips
Field trips are coordinated to coincide with the lesson being taught for a hands-on experience. Past field trips have included:

- Captain Shish-ka-Bob Angleton (Texas Agriculture)
- George Ranch in Richmond, Texas (early Texans)
5th & 6th Grade Class Trip
5th and 6th Grades go on an annual retreat which is typically three days in length to build unity within the class, provide opportunities for students to build confidence and develop trust and to experience the love of Christ in an energizing, fun-filled, Christ-centered atmosphere. All class members are required to attend.
Enrichment
BCS is proud to offer Spanish beginning in 3rd grade as part of its dedication to enriching students.
Standardized Tests
BCS utilizes the Iowa Assessment, which is taken by each student in Spring from Kindergarten through 6th grade. This helps BCS evaluate the progress of each student.
