Dear BCS Families and Staff,

Once again, I want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your incredible support of the Foundations of Legacy Gala this past weekend. This event was an overwhelming success, and it was truly moving to see our community come together in celebration of our school’s mission, its rich legacy, and the exciting future we are building together.

Because of your generosity and participation, we are thrilled to share that the event raised approximately $60,000 after expenses.

During the evening, our Head of School, Mr. Skyler Sikes, shared transparently about how these contributions will directly support critical areas at BCS, including:

• Completing 70% of our security contract
• Enhancing our elementary playground
• Adding new classrooms to meet our growing student body
• Expanding transportation options, such as additional transit vehicles
• Introducing new programs like career and technical education and special services support
• Reducing existing debt and preparing for future development opportunities

As Mr. Sikes said, recurring and regular donations serve as a vital “support raft,” helping us navigate challenges, expand opportunities, and create an environment where our students thrive in faith, excellence, and community. This gala was more than a fundraiser—it was about honoring the legacy of BCS and laying the groundwork for a bright, God-honoring future.

As I write this, I want to personally emphasize how much you, our staff and parents, mean to our school. You are the heartbeat of BCS, and it’s important to us that you receive this information first. Your dedication, prayers, and partnership in our mission are what make BCS the remarkable place it is.
