History of BCS

Written by Cooper Lowe and Hunter Simmons Here at BCS we want to remember our History. We see it as an important part of the school we are today. As Tryon Edwards once said, “Some of the best lessons we ever learn from our mistakes and failures. The errors of the past...

Teachers As Mentors

As parents we all share one familiar goal, we want what’s best for our children. We make decisions daily on the basis of their health and happiness. Although every family is in an entirely different situation, and decisions are made for each family for one reason or...

The Knighton Family

We have been at BCS for eight years now and we are looking forward to the next eight, until our children will graduate. BCS has been like a second family to us and we love that Christian values are infused in every aspect of the academic training. We know that the curriculum is the best around and our children are being well equipped for whatever their future may hold. We are thankful for the faculty and staff that love our children everyday, and help us to raise our children to know Jesus and make Him known.

The Magallanes Family

As a product of a private high school education myself, it has always been a dream to provide a similar experience for my own children. This is our second year at BCS and my (3) children are thriving! I couldn’t be happier with the educational content they teach and how they tie everything together with a biblical worldview. The small classes allow the kids to be more than just a number, and they get to know their classmates more intimately. It truly feels like an extension of family here on campus.

The Small Family

Our family moved to BCS when our son was moving into 4th grade. From the start we noticed what a difference this school was from our prior school experience. It has been a joy and a blessing to be a part of BCS and to watch our now 6th grader grow not only in knowledge but in Christ.

The Rhone Family

We love BCS for several reasons. BCS staff have been amazing in working with our son academically and emotionally. BCS offers smaller classroom numbers which offers more one on one time. BCS students seem to be accepting of each other and treat each other with respect and we have not experienced any reports of bullying which is huge for students now days. Skyler Sikes has been guiding BCS into a more positive direction.
